In addition to listing your business on Yelp, you can also create paid Yelp ad campaigns to increase your chances of generating leads. Yelp Ads, also called Self-Service Ads, help your business by way of targeted local advertising. When you create a Yelp Ad, it puts your business in front of potential customers searching for a service or product that you offer.

After you’ve logged in to your business profile, click on ‘Yelp Ads’ on the left-hand side menu. You should be able to see a red ‘Get Started’ button on the main page. Click on it.
In the next step, you will be shown a preview of your Yelp Ad, with a text box above it where you can enter a brief description about your business and its specialties. Once you’ve entered the description, click on ‘Continue’.
In the next screen, you will be provided a list of budget options that you can choose from. This also includes a custom budget option, where you can set your own Cost Per Click (CPC) pricing.
Note that there will be a ‘Business Page Upgrade’ option below the pricing list. You can choose to select this feature at an additional cost, and make your business listing more customizable.
After selecting your budget, you will be taken to the billing information page, where you will have to provide your card details for payment. Click on ‘Purchase’ after entering your card details.
And voila! Your Yelp ad is now live!
