A simple way to improve your brand reputation is to embed Yelp reviews on any company website. Showcasing positive Yelp reviews on your website builds trust for your brand from prospective customers. In the early days of Yelp, businesses had to screenshot any reviews as a way to share them on external websites. However, a few years back, Yelp rolled out an embed feature to take the guesswork out of sharing your consumer reviews.
Step 1
Navigate to the review you want to embed. You don’t need to sign in to Yelp as a way to embed any reviews. Instead, search for a business on the Yelp homepage. Once you find the correct business name, click on its profile name. On the business page, all reviews will appear. You can filter results by newest first, oldest first, the highest rating, and lowest rating.
Step 2
Hover your mouse over the three dots located next to the Yelp review. Once you click on the dots, you’ll have the option to Share the Review or Embed the Review. Choose the embed option.
Step 3
Review the embed code provided by Yelp. A pop-up window will appear on the screen, and you can copy the embed code onto your clipboard to paste later. Yelp also provides a preview of what your embedded review will look like once live.
Step 4
Paste the code into your company website. For WordPress, add a new custom HTML widget as a page option. Paste the embed code into the widget and then enable the widget on your WordPress site. Alternatively, you could download a Yelp review plugin for your HTML website to share the latest consumer feedback.
And, less time obsessing about your local presence
