How to Add Your Logo to Facebook

To build a successful business, there are several components to consider, including your logo. The logo of your company showcases your brand and tells consumers what your business is about. One of the best ways to promote your business online is via social media. The best way for consumers to see your brand specifically and recognize what you offer is to add your logo to your Facebook Business profile.

Easily reach your target audience by displaying your logo via Facebook. Display your logo proudly and help consumers quickly find your business within their list of companies they are following. Use the simple guide below to add your logo to your profile with ease.

Step 1:

Before you can add your logo as your profile picture on the business Facebook account, you need to check the sizing and other requirements. The image should be a square shape that is 170x170 pixels. Ideally, the best size is 180x180. With this size, the image will display well on mobile and desktop devices.

The image file must be smaller than 15 MB and needs to be saved as a PNG or JPG. Take note of the background of your image. Facebook automatically makes the background white if your image has a transparent background. If your logo has a light color or white lettering, this might be problematic. Save your image on your desktop in the right sizing and format so you can add it to your account.

Once you check that your logo fits the requirements, you are ready to place it within your account.

Step 2:

Log in to your business Facebook Account. Locate the area for the profile picture. This will be blank if you have not added any images or will have whatever images of your business you added in the past.

Click on the Camera to add your image. Select Update Profile Picture. A pop-up will appear and you need to select Upload a Photo.

From there, your desktop will open and you can select your logo. Click open and the image will pop up within your Facebook account. You can then drag it into position and crop as needed. Once the image is to your liking, hit the Save button on the bottom right of the screen.

Step 3:

Go to your homepage and review your image. Is your logo showing up correctly? Can it be seen clearly and is recognizable? Complete any tweaks as needed so that your logo looks great and will be seen clearly by consumers.

With your business logo now in place, consumers can locate your business with ease as they search on Facebook. Keep things fresh every year by changing up your logo a bit, such as the background color or writing. This allows you to add a new profile picture from time to time and your followers will see the change on their page, which only brings more recognition to your brand.
