Track any prompt you want in the Answer Engine Monitor

Until now the monitor watched a fixed set of category prompts. You can now write your own — up to 50 per location — and the agent runs them nightly across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, storing every answer verbatim so you can see exactly which sentence cited a competitor instead of you.

New
  • Custom prompts — write up to 50 per location; the agent runs them nightly and keeps the raw answer text.
  • Answer diffing — see exactly what changed in an engine's answer between two runs.
  • Competitor watchlist — pin up to 5 rivals and get share-of-answer for each in the same view.
Improved
  • Monitor runs finish ~4× faster — a 200-location account now completes in under 9 minutes.
  • Citation links resolve to the exact source page instead of the domain root.
  • CSV export includes the full answer body, not just position.
Fixed
  • Prompts containing an apostrophe were silently dropped from nightly runs.
  • Gemini results occasionally recorded under the wrong location in multi-location accounts.
  • Share-of-answer chart rendered 0% during the first 24 hours after adding a prompt.
  • The date picker allowed a range ending before it started.
  • Long prompts overflowed the row on narrow viewports.
  • Email digest linked to the previous week's report.
  • Duplicate prompts could be added if pasted with trailing whitespace.
  • Sorting by position put unranked prompts first instead of last.

Review replies now sound like the business, not like software

The reply agent reads the last 40 published replies for a location and matches their length, formality and sign-off. Agencies managing many brands can lock a voice per client, and every draft shows which past reply it modelled itself on.

Reviews — Needs reply (6)Voice: Harbor Coffee — warm, brief
DMDana M.★★★★☆Google · 2h ago · Ballard

Great cold brew and the staff remembered my order the second time. Only knock is the seating — it was tough to find a table at 8am on a Saturday.

Agent draft · modelled on 12 past repliesDana, thank you — Marcus mentioned he'd spotted a regular. You're right about Saturday mornings; we're adding four seats along the window this month. Hope it's easier next time.

Ordered ahead and still waited 15 minutes. Nobody at the pickup counter.

Agent draft · escalated to ownerJorge, that's a real miss and I'm sorry. Mobile orders should be on the shelf when you arrive — I'm reviewing Tuesday's pickup coverage today. If you'd email me your order number I'll make it right.
Approve & publishEditHeld for approval — 2★ rule
New
  • Voice profiles — lock tone, length and sign-off per client; agencies can clone a profile across a portfolio.
  • Escalation rules — hold any reply below a star threshold, or containing chosen keywords, for human approval.
Improved
  • Drafts now cite the past replies they learned from, so approvers can sanity-check the voice.
  • Reply publishing retries automatically when a platform returns a rate limit instead of failing the queue.
  • The needs-reply inbox groups by location when an account has more than 20 sites.
Fixed
  • Replies to Facebook recommendations posted without the location signature.
  • Emoji in reviewer names broke the inbox avatar.
  • Bulk approve stopped at the first error instead of continuing.
  • Star filter reset when navigating back from a review.
  • Draft word count included the sign-off twice.
  • Timezone on "2h ago" used account time, not location time.

Maintenance week — 24 fixes, a faster sync queue, no new surface

We spent the week on the publishing pipeline. Nothing here changes what you see; a lot of it changes whether things arrive on time.

Improved
  • Listing sync queue rewritten — median publish time to Google is down from 4m 20s to 51s.
  • Failed publishes now retry with backoff for 6 hours before surfacing an error.
Fixed
  • Hours with a midnight close saved as the previous day on Apple Business Connect.
  • Bing sync failed silently for locations without a phone number.
  • Special hours for statutory holidays dropped on re-publish.
  • Duplicate suppression flagged legitimate suite numbers as duplicates.
  • Location search ignored accented characters.
  • CSV export wrote UTF-8 without a BOM, breaking Excel on Windows.
  • Photo uploads over 8 MB timed out without an error message.
  • Category changes reverted after a GBP-side edit within 24 hours.
  • The audit log recorded the agent as the actor for human edits.
  • Session expired mid-import instead of resuming.
  • Webhook retries fired twice for the same event ID.
  • Sorting locations by health score placed nulls above 100.
  • Dashboard sparkline rendered off by one day in UTC-negative timezones.
  • Long business names truncated mid-word in the location switcher.
  • Invite emails to team members used the previous workspace name.
  • Keyboard focus escaped the modal on Safari.

Onboard 500 locations from one spreadsheet

The importer maps your columns itself, resolves addresses against USPS and Google before writing anything, and shows you a row-level preview of what will change. Agencies taking over a franchise account can go from CSV to published in a single sitting.

New
  • Automatic column mapping — the importer recognises common franchise export formats and proposes a mapping you can override.
  • Dry-run preview — see every field that would change, per row, before a single write.
Improved
  • Address validation runs against USPS and Google together; conflicts are shown side by side.
  • Imports resume where they stopped if the browser closes.
Fixed
  • Semicolon-delimited CSVs were rejected as malformed.
  • Leading zeros stripped from ZIP codes.
  • Import summary counted skipped rows as failures.
  • Rollback left photos attached to deleted locations.
  • Column mapping reset when switching tabs.

Store locator pages now earn their own rankings

Every location page ships with LocalBusiness schema, real inventory of services, and reviews rendered server-side — so the page ranks on its own rather than leaning on the parent domain.
