How to Add Your Logo to Google My Business

Inserting your logo into common business tools like Google My Business (GMB) ensures that your brand is noticed and chosen over competitors. Step 1: 

To get started, you need to log in to your Google My Business account. You can do this via the app or on your desktop.

In the app, you will need to select Post and then Add Photos/Videos. On a desktop, select the Add Photos section. Select the Logo section. 

Your image will need to be a JPG or PNG file format. Image files need to be 10KB and 5MB in size with a resolution of 720 x 720 pixels or better. 

Step 2: 

Select the Logo section and drag your image into the correct area. You can add the image from your Pictures folder on your desktop or mobile device.

Once you have uploaded your new image, review your account to make sure that your logo appears correctly. If you matched the sizing components required by Google, then you should have no issue with how your logo image appears.

Step 3:

Take time to add more photos to your profile. Google My Business provides several options for your business including a Cover photo, Interior and Exterior images. Use the same steps as above and select a different category to add images to your profile. 

Review these images as well from your public listing so you can be sure all photos appear correctly and look their very best. 

Change out your images as needed as you update your business. If you renovate or offer new products, add images to your profile to reflect these changes. This will keep your listing fresh and welcoming to potential clients searching for such services or products online.
