You can repurpose previously written blog content into a multitude of sharable bite-sized pieces for your social media platforms. This helps keep your messaging consistent and your readers in tune with your overall branding. You’ll notice improved click through rates from your social media channels, and improved engagement from readers. We’ve got a few pointers to get you started.

  • Write compelling blog content! Determine your target audience, then adapt your material to meet their interests. To draw the reader's eye, choose a title that is both informative and catchy.
  • Keep your paragraphs and sentences concise and simple to read. A post that can be read in under 10 minutes is ideal.
  • Make it easier to skim the material by breaking it up with bullet points and subheadings.
  • Use multimedia components like photographs and videos.
  • Make your post more trustworthy by using facts and data to back up your claims. Link to this data, or reference it at the bottom of your post.
  • Include a call to action at the end of your piece to encourage readers to comment.
  • Make sure your content is clear and error-free by revising and proofreading it. You may even want to get one or two other sets of eyes on it to be sure you haven’t left anything out or missed a typo.

  • Use quotes from your blog post targeting important brand messaging. Compelling quotes can drive traffic to your blogs or website, so be sure to select quotes that speak directly to the niche of content you cover.
  • You can also boil meaningful paragraphs into a list graphic. Quotes or lists built into graphics are easily shareable and, if you’re lucky, can make your content go viral.
  • Share one or two key points from your blog in the caption of your posts.

  • Create compelling social media visuals to direct people to your blog, or repost blog materials. Keep it simple with visuals on social media. Plain, uncluttered designs with little text typically perform well.
  • Use high-resolution, sharp, and well-lit photographs. Contrasting colors can be appealing to the eye. Pick hues that will catch users' eyes and help your graphics stand out in their feeds.
  • Be sure to think of the format and scale of your visuals. As each social media network has a distinct recommended size and aspect ratio, make sure your pictures are tailored for that platform.
  • Many brands use creative typography to add visual interest and bring attention to their messages. You don’t have to get it perfect straight away. Try various images, then examine the results to determine which appeals to your audience the most.

  • Use Animoto or another video-creation app to convert your blog post into a social media video. Animoto is super easy to use, just select a video style and dig in on the design components.
  • Once you've settled on a look for your video, you can start adding your own images and movies. You may even want to add a logo or title to the video.
  • You can publish and share your video in a variety of formats, including MP4 and GIF.
  • Additionally, you can post the video directly to your Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube.

  • Create a podcast from a blog post. Record yourself reading your blog article using a program like Audacity. The podcast can then be released on services like iTunes and Spotify and distributed via social media. This is a great idea to be inclusive and get followers who listen on-the-go to tune in.
  • Podcasts allow you to flaunt your knowledge and position yourself as an authority on a certain subject.
  • In general, podcasts are a potent instrument cultivating relationships, and addressing a specific audience. They can be a successful and efficient approach for a brand to connect with its audience and advance business objectives due to their comparatively modest expenses and the opportunity for long-term involvement.

  • Make a social media challenge using the information from your blog as the foundation. You could, for instance, design a "30-day healthy eating challenge" and post daily suggestions and motivation on social media if you authored a blog post about developing healthy eating habits.

  • A link to your blog post should always be included when promoting it on social media. This will make it easy for your followers to view the content.
  • Put recent posts in your linktree, or add it directly to your profile for easy clicking.

  • You can make a reel or TikTok summarizing your blog content. This might be a video of you outlining the main ideas of the article or a slide show featuring the article's text and graphics.

  • Start a Twitter thread that divides your blog content into more manageable portions. This can start a larger conversation around your post.
  • Making a thread is super easy, just write a Tweet and add additional tweets by clicking on the plus button.
  • You can add as many tweets as you want to the thread, but keep in mind that each tweet can have a maximum of 280 characters and readers can reply on every individual tweet in the thread.

  • Create a quiz or poll using your blog content to engage your followers. This is a fun method to interact with your readers and increase blog traffic.
